The great Finnish composer Jean Sibelius broke into the German musical scene in the early 20th century with his tone poem En Saga. The piece having been revised multiple times for ensembles of varying size by the composer himself, the RSCP presents a chamber music version of the work, evocative of fairy tales and mystical landscapes. The Beethoven cycle continues with his String Quartet Op. 18 No. 2, written while Beethoven was a student of Joseph Haydn.

Britten: Phantasy Quartet
Sibelius: En Saga
Jerzy Sapieyevski: Arioso
Beethoven: String Quartet Op.18, No. 2
