Bring your own lunch and join us for our artist talk series “Art for Lunch,” where we invite local artists to share their work and research with the community.

Our May presentation will feature Trea Jensen and take place Tuesday, May 27, from 12-1 pm.

Trea Jensen is a multidisciplinary artist and musician, using folklore and symbolism from her mixed heritage to construct narrative works. She explores the Moon, nature, iconic female deities, fairytales, ancient texts, and hidden symbols. Working with watercolour and acrylic, Trea is constantly learning and passing on her knowledge.
In addition to her creative work, Trea practices Energy Medicine. She is a Reiki Master and BodyTalk Practioner, making use of music, astrology, meditation, and Oracle Card readings to compliment the healing journey.
Trea has been involved in a wide range of local arts organizations including Eastend Arts Council and acting as a Founder of A.G.E.S - Artisans Guild of Eastend & Surrounding Area(2008-2020). She has created exhibitions and programming for Sask Culture Days and has participated in the SaskArts Artist in Communities program at the Eastend Historical Museum. She treats her home as a large canvas, collaborating on many murals with her daughter Bronwyn.
Trea grew up in Calgary, AB and has lived on the West Coast and in the Rocky Mountains. She was drawn to the beauty of the Cypress Hills and the Whitemud River Valley and has made Eastend, SK home since 2007.
