Our January presentation will feature Sally Knelsen and take place Tuesday, January 28, from 12-1 pm.
Sally Knelsen is a painter based in Swift Current, SK. She began her practice in 1997, taking classes through the Art Gallery of Swift Current and eventually at Emma Lake through the University of Saskatchewan. She has exhibited in Saskatoon, Val Marie, Maple Creek, Elbow, and Maywarden, and has work in collections in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Australia. Sally is heavily influenced by the Group of Seven and the work of the Impressionists, focusing on Prairie scenes from Southwest Saskatchewan.
