Rehearsals are in full swing at Millar College of the Bible as they prepare to present To Follow A Star, an original musical. Over 100 people are involved in the musical including college students, staff and community children. A 25 piece orchestra will provide live music for the performance. The script, music and lyrics were written and composed by the Fine Arts Department. The drama tells the story of a young ruler seeking to become the king that his kingdom deserves. Travelling far from home, answers elude him as he encounters many ruthless men. One, who is different, changes the course of his life.
Performances will be held in the Millar College of the Bible gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 8th at 7:00pm & Sunday, Dec. 9th at 2:00 in Pambrun (40 min. SE of Swift Current). There is no charge for admittance; a free will offering will be taken. Complementary refreshments and baked goods will be served after the performance.
