Our brief history is such......
The Regina group was started May 9, 2019. After seeing the need for a way and means to communicate to the biking community the events for M/C riders in the city, this group was created.
It started out as an idea to put some smiles on kids’ faces after Covid-19 hit the country. The kids had nowhere to go, no friends to play with, no school and no playgrounds. Birthday celebrations with school buddies were put on hold. And some kids had a very hard time with isolation.
I had seen a couple of posts on Facebook about someone wanting people to decorate their cars to do a “parade” for a child’s birthday. But the scattered commenting between these posts made it quite confusing as to when and where they were to meet up. However, the child did get a parade.
After seeing how frustrating things get when trying to have people, that don’t know each other, get together, I thought there must be a way to organize gatherings. The next day or so, I took a shot and made a public post to see what the interest would be in doing “drive-bys” with motorcycles. We had a dozen people sign-up that day I think.
Within two days I received a message from someone wanting MC riders to do a ride past a care/rehab facility in Moose Jaw. An event was posted and contact was made with some Moose Jaw riders. We had 50 bikes from Regina meet up with 45 bikes from The Jaw. Riding as one pack, we circled the block a couple times and then dispersed. It was great!
Since then, in 2020, the Regina group has had over 50 Ride-Bys. Birthdays, Anniversaries, a Last Hurrah for a terminal fellow and a few for kids….just because.
The kids were thrilled! The parents were thrilled! Everyone had so much fun on these rides, even though they were short and quick, they were great. The camaraderie and friendships that came from this will be long lasting. We did this all summer long at no cost to anyone. We had been asked what we charge and the answer is Nothing! Zero! Nada! We are however accepting donations that will be dispersed to non-profit groups in the fall.
This is a little “ad” that we made up and are trying to circulate around the province...............

Rolling into our second year, we are anxious to come thunderin' down your street with the noise and excitement that all kids love.
But it’s not just for the young ones! If you have someone with a milestone event coming up....give us a shout.
We can make it a memorable day for sure! Last season, we brought birthday smiles to kids from 2 years up to 80 years of age! Along with some well wishes for Anniversaries and "Last Hurrahs". All at “No Charge”.
