Professionals...do you know what Al-Anon is?
The message of Al-Anon Family Groups is one of hope. It is the story of men, women, and children who once felt helpless, lost and lonely because of another's drinking, whether the drinker is still drinking or not. Al-Anon is a unique fellowship that unites members of different backgrounds, races, and walks of life in an inspiring endeavor: helping themselves and other to lead purposeful, useful lives by overcoming the frustration and helplessness caused by close association with an alcoholic.
We invite you to join us to become informed and aware of Al-Anon and how it can be a credible community resource for helping those affected by someone else's drinking.
We will provide you with a lunch, personal sharings and some information to take with you when you go.
Please join us on the last Wednesday in April 24, July 31 and/or October 30th from 12 noon - 1pm at the Lions Hall (upstairs 155 3rd Ave NE). Please confirm your attendance in advance.
